Building the Future: The Role of Construction

Building the Future: The Role of Construction in Nepal’s Development

As Lord Himalayan Construction, we take pride in our contributions to the vibrant and growing construction industry in Nepal. The construction sector is not just about creating structures; it’s about building the future and laying the foundation for sustainable development. From residential buildings to monumental infrastructure projects, our work touches every aspect of life in Nepal.

The Construction Boom in Nepal

In recent years, Nepal has witnessed a significant surge in construction activities, driven by rapid urbanization, economic growth, and the urgent need for infrastructure development. This construction boom is transforming the landscape of our cities and rural areas, creating job opportunities, and boosting local economies.

 Scope and Objective

The main objective of the present study is to know the subsurface hydrogeological condition of the study  area for the exploration of groundwater and this resource will be used for fulfilling the demand of water  in the university. To fulfill this objective, Geophysical Survey Projects

The Deep Tube well Drilling Site was located at Phalewas. The GPS Coordinate of the well drilling  site is 28° 09 ‘21.4″N, 83° 38’ 46.11″E about 790 m SW from Phalewas PolicestaMon .

The drilling work was continued smoothly and achieved 132 m of penetraMon. ARer th(Electrical Resistivity Survey: Two Dimensional Electrical Resistivity Tomography) was carried out in the proposed study areas. The main aim  of conducting Electrical Resistivity Survey is to find out the subsurface geological features related to water  bearing zones (aquifer) for the extraction of reasonable volume of water and to find out drilling location  and depth for the exploitation of ground water resource.

To meet the specific objectives, the scopes of work are as follows:

-Carryout general geological and hydrological survey

-Carry out Electrical Resistivity Survey (2D ERT).

-Compute, analyze and interpret ERT data with computer added software.

-Make suggestions and recommendations on hydrogeological conditions on the basis of ERT interpretation,  geological and geomorphological observations.

 -Report Preparation.
